the replacement

ok... this is the replacement couch for my boys gaming ... hang out pad... my brother in law God bless ... brought down in his truck a really fun futon and let my boys have it ...it was black with a cool red cushion ....it had a recent tragedy ...that if you are in the know then good...if not I'll spare a dear person some embarrassment...however...finding a couch that has not been used by strangers...for pre teen hang out at a reasonable price is next to impossible....but as fate or God's mercy would allow....at 9:00 last night while Jess and the kids minus Noah (on a big boy excursion to great uncles house!) are waiting in the car and I'm looking for storage bins....in Target it was that moment when all else around you fails and the crowded store falls silent and you can actually hear angels singing, Hallelujah! I had found it! In the 08 dorm section....there it was this perfect bachelor pad couch...in black of course....at a steal of a price ....the replacement was found...so we strapped it to the top of the suburban with bungees (another 45minutes in the parking lot....thank God again for dvd players installed in cars)....the store employee watched in horror as my husband rigged the too long bungees around and around the suburban racks....we were not quite a Griswold moment thanks to Jess's diligence....he opened the sunroof to make sure he could watch it...as you can see he tuckered out after putting it together around 1am...thanks daddy.....they love their new couch...now if I could just finish unpacking the boxes in the pad....
