...yes in the background of lman hugging his cherished webkin from nordstroms, also where i found chloe's bday present at the half yearly sale!! ....is the evidence that i have in fact as of today purchased and set up my christmas tree.....mock and make fun but we have a four day weekend and i'm not wasting it... plus traveling for the holidays makes getting the house ready a tricky timing issue ....so anyway, i had to go to Lowe's with my unbelievably amazing dad.. he projects for my family the entire time he visits here... and there was a tree destroyed in the storm a few weeks ago and he wanted to upright it properly before they set sail today home.... so off we went to get the thick stakes and there it was 'that magical moment'... in the rather large bustling christmas section... my new tall tree... and with jess currently out of the country.... he was unavailable for consult and my dad didn't encourage me to buy it but he helped me anyways by tracking down some lowe's boys to lift and load it for me.... we put it up and it's unbelievable...perfect fit. It's funny how ginormous things get when you bring them home and out of places like target, lowe's and costco.... "it's not going in the living room clark"... my motto for the new tree.... Rae has been dancing in front of and singing (i think to the tree) "oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree" is that on barbie the christmas carol?... the boys just gather chairs around it and sit and talk about who knows what...mostly they just argue about who sits where.... hopefully that will change when we add the ornaments later, giving them some conversational pieces...and naturally the cats are already sleeping under it... how is it peaceful under the inferno of lights?....got me.
