aftermath

well i wouldn't even call that an election...wow as the electoral votes kept racking up for the other team... we just hung our heads in silence... what can you do or say..pastor mike said on sunday...Have you read the end of this book? holding up his bible... it doesn't end well! and i'll have to agree, especially at this moment.... jess made a comment, (sometimes out of nowhere he shares these frightening details of his thoughts with me) the other night that stuck with me.. he said we can't raise our children to just be christians, by the time they are 9 or 10 they will have faced more opposition against christ than we will in a lifetime, we have to raise these kids to be warriors... to teach them that it is better to die for their faith than succumb to anything against God...kind of heavy for a conversation over dirty dishes... but after tonight the winds of change are blowing through... and i found myself reflecting on the conversation...oh and ps read the grays blog from today about her date with j.... if you can even read the page when you are done, i was a little choked up... keep j in your prayers that she heals quickly!
