good news

...we found a church!!!!!!!! we are in heaven.... it's nothing that either of us ever thought we would want....it's smaller than our last church home, in a commerce area, and a familiar 30 minute drive and well i just had that gut feeling about it...we'll call it a divine intervention...on the way there two weeks ago jess said "this better be the most awesome church because if you think i want to do this drive for a 5th time in a week (it's by the boys gym...i just had a feeling it would be that good)... and as we sat down in the back and started worship i had a flood feeling (i've felt this way a few other times but i can count them...stories for anther time) wash over me and in my head (heart) i heard, "you are home" well i didn't even know i was teary eyed until i was wiping tears away with rachel's night night. ummm...are you sure??? i just sat down??!! and as the pastor spoke i was falling off my chair in anticipation of his next word...he was amazing...all bible based line by line diverging, backing up every statement with not 1 but multiple verses and encouraging us to jot this down and that....last week he mentioned that his dream sanctuary was all desks and we'd all come in with our laptops and bibles ready to study god's word! He's cool, brilliant, and unwavering on truth.... he's in your face and not at all about "feel good christianity"...it's powerful stuff... i'm so impressed at how our kids love it...zach of all our kids (never one for anything new, being separated from us...church has always been hard) was excited yes excited and hurried to get ready last sunday for his class...his exact words... "oh are we going to the same one as last week? I LOVE THAT CHURCH!" this is definitely a praise god moment... and some of you know baby jordan's story and well i had the opportunity to meet her family and her mom is great i'll attach her blog to mine so you can see her story of faith...incredible...they go to our new church...i read about her over a year ago through jenn...check it out if you have time...
