.....for mel s. for inspiring with your golden princess heart and r brady with those homemade brownies...and my sister mel sorry about zach calling your beautiful homemade pancakes "toaster pancakes mmmmm....." poor auntie never saw it coming! .....sometimes...... well hardly ever and well mabye for the first time since we moved i actually put some thought into dinner.... being that thought involves process and process takes time which clearly i have little of.... but this particular evening my handsome hard working type husband took over the afternoon run around so i thought i'd prove by the standards of those who have gone before me... i can be that fabulous 50's wife my husband truly longs for.... clean house...well picked up at least..... the aroma of a piping hot meal as he enters the door all tired and worn out from work and daddy duties.... and his iced glass all ready for his diet pepsi awaiting him patiently on the counter.... i bought this pasta set...over a year ago from costco with my usual inspirational hopes of using it at dinner, lucky for me my kids love pasta, the low budget, no talent wonder.....and when we packed up our home earlier this summer jess tossed the unopened box in the goodwill pile.... i chided him... naturally wanting to save my treasure and his honest and scaring reply was "why did you buy that..... you'll NEVER use it".... and being one who despises absolute statements i swapped it to the moving truck loading pile...I hope the meal memory lasts because it didn't look this great tonight... we were back to dishing it out from the stove.... by the way, i think the cheap white plasticware was the cincher......fancy! Please....we all have our limits mine happens to be dishes...!
