boating

the kids love to go on the boat... i can appreciate it but that queasy feeling in my stomach every time the boat rocks far enough to tip over makes me want to swim for shore... the weather was actually great the ocean was just a little rough for me...we settled on letting the kids feed bait fish to the seagulls and pelicans...they seemed to love it and the harbor waters are quite calm... rachel thought the bait fish were great, this was her first time feeding the birds and chloe was a big help in letting her be part of the action...if we left it up to noah and bransen they would have been the only two throwing fish off the boat, but the constant whinning from zach and chloe finally registered and they were given a turn, to which they passed fish to everyone including rachel...it was a much better system...austin just kept his ipod headphones on and rocked out with his feet kicked up relaxing..typical teenager...we were happy he wanted to join in on the day... i love the picture of this sailboat that passed by... i might enlarge it for the boys room....with a few others from the harbor boats...
